We operate Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2 pm and Saturday, 8 am to 11 am. (First Saturday of the month only.)

WHAT IS THE COST TO DISPOSE ACCEPTED MATERIAL?
Loose (un-bagged or un-contained) material: $65 per ton with a 1,000 pound, $35 minimum charge. Yard waste: $60 per ton with a one-ton minimum. Customer drop-off area: $4 per item for any material accepted at drop-off area. Demo debris: $80/ton
WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED?
You may pay by cash or business checks only. We do not accept personal checks, credit cards or debit cards.
WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTED AT THE TRANSFER STATION?
We do not accept regulated hazardous wastes, asbestos-containing material, regulated PCB material, infectious medical wastes, liquid wastes, regulated and manifested special wastes, radioactive waste, lead acid automotive batteries, household hazardous wastes, paint, fertilizer, tires, railroad ties and appliances.
WHERE CAN WE TAKE PAINTS, OILS, LIQUIDS AND TIRES?
You can take them to the household hazardous waste site at 3333 Kishwaukee Street in Rockford. They are open weekends – Saturday 8 am to 4 pm, Sunday 12 pm to 4 pm, with the exception of holidays.
